Hex-reinforcements cover nearly every flat surface for exceptional rigidity. An ultra-tough composite structure of interlocking components allows the chassis to absorb massive shocks while retaining its tight tolerances.

  Superior Protection

  Maxx Slash s skid plates enclose the centre driveshaft inside a rigid backbone for superior protection.   Reinforced Clipless Body

  Maxx Slash uses rugged self-energising clips at all four wheels to keep the body secure until you release it. Additional side supports fit into the specially designed nerf bars to increase body rigidity.   The VXL-6s speed control is custom-tuned to extract maximum torque from the Velineon 2000 kV motor.   The high-output Traxxas TQi 2.4 GHz radio system delivers superior range, 30-model memory, and maximum control.   Steel-Core Hybrid Driveshafts

  New Steel-Core hybrid driveshafts feature innovative internal steel cores wrapped in durable nylon composite materials. They deliver the durability of steel combined with smooth-running telescopic action for the ultimate 6s capable driveshafts. New U-joint yokes are modified to improve e-clip retention by eliminating the e-clip on one side. The stub axle assembly is now all-steel for even more strength.

A heavy duty snap-lock battery door keeps the batteries secure, but releases in seconds for quick access.

  Optional Accessory Lighting

  Built to handle brutal real-world punishment, the Maxx Slash LED Light Kit (part #10290) is waterproof and built Traxxas Tough for maximum fun. Blaze a path through the night with this high-output LED light kit. The included high voltage amplifier packs the muscle to efficiently power the high-power light bar with a tightly regulated output for stable lighting performance, without flickering or dimming as the battery voltage changes.

• 4x AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter.
• 2x LiPo Batteries – Traxxas recommends dual 5000 mAh 3-cell 11.1 V Power Cell LiPo batteries for maximum performance. Dual 7600 mAh 7.4 V LiPo batteries or a single 6700 mAh 14.8 V LiPo battery will operate the vehicle with reduced performance. NiMH batteries are not supported.
• 1 LiPo Balance Charger with iD – Traxxas EZ-Peak Live 4s-capable charger is recommended for easy and fast charging performance (model 2971).
