The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was a British luxury passenger car from the interwar period. The production of this model lasted from 1929 to 1936. It is assumed that approximately 1,700 cars of this type were produced in the course of the project. The vehicle was powered by a single, 7.7 liter inline six-cylinder engine with 122 hp. The lion’s share of Phantom I cars was manufactured at Rolls-Royce’s plants in Derby, Great Britain. The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was developed to supplement and later replace the Phantom I model in the company’s offer. Compared to its predecessor, the Phantom II has received a modernized engine, in which the work culture and its synchronization with the gearbox have been improved. There were also new springs on the rear axle, as well as new interior and exterior styling. New body versions were also introduced. For example, the Continental version was introduced, which had a shorter wheelbase compared to other versions.

It is estimated that about 3,500 cars of this type were produced in the course of the project. The vehicle was powered by a single 7.7 liter inline six-cylinder engine. The lion’s share of the Phantom I cars was manufactured at Rolls-Royce’s plants in Derby, Great Britain. The model was also manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts, in the USA. The Rolls-Royce Phantom I was developed to replace the Silver Ghost model in the company’s lineup, which was launched in 1906! Compared to its predecessor, it has been significantly enlarged – the length of the car itself has increased by almost one meter. The design of the body and the entire vehicle has also changed significantly. A larger capacity engine was also used. These changes positively influenced the improvement of performance – especially the maximum speed – as well as improved the comfort of the journey.
